Hello I just installed some new Pioneer TS-G1642R speakers in my 1998 Saturn SL2 and was wondering if my old mother, where the speakers 6 ohms and my new speakers are only 4 ohm I can ruin my new speakers? my stereo is just the tape deck of my car values it comes with. the new speakers sound great they actually sound really good, no clipping or any other strange noises that are audible. data here are my new speakers. # 6-1/2 "# G Series Speakers Power Handling: * Peak: 180 watts * RMS: 30 watts # cone woofer injection molded polypropylene fabric # # Surround 1-3/16 "polyetherimide dome tweeter # Shallow basket design for installation versatility # Increased installation versatility with extra tabs # 4 Ohm Impedance # top-mount depth: 1-11/16 "are my new speakers at risk of ruin? The number of ohms of impedance for the levels referred to the amplifier, stereo if its population goes well with these new speakers, you should have no problem.
