Sust (power) passive subwoofer speaker?

I have to replace the speaker on my powered subwoofer (amplifier is fine). Is there any difference between assets and liabilities (with motor) as the speaker / driver is at stake?

The short answer to your question is no. However, when replacing any woofer you have to match the original parameters within tolerances. The first consideration is the impedance. If the driver impedance replacement is very low the amplifier may be damaged. The next consideration, not least, is the TS (Thiele / Small) parameters, if these do not match closely the quality of sound is affected, sometimes a lot. It is unlikely that you will be able to figure out what the TS parameters are for the original driver and my best advice is to get a replacement driver from the manufacturer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thiele/Small

What are the specifications of a 10 inch subwoofer box Pyle, and if you know what the peak watts?

I have a more large 10 "subwoofer driver Pyle, I need to know the box Demention for construction and if anyone knows I watts peak

Why? Watts peak mean nothing. It is a meaningless number. Only reviews RMS mean anything. If you're old school old Pyle drivers are around 200 watts RMS each, and I hope that each woofer 1.5 cubic feet, or about a sealed box. Buoyed be about 2.5 each. You may try contacting Pyle but it is quite different from the old, well, made in USA Pyle. Sometimes, maintaining technical specifications and things for old things, but not when it's worth a try.
