How to wire dvc 4 ohm sub to 4 ohm?

kk thanks for looking im about to get a type r 12 and its dual voice coil 4 ohms.. and im hooking it up to a mrp500 500rms x 4ohms. how would i wire my type r to just get 4 ohm load i dont really understand this sub wiring stuff? thanks alot really appreciate it

ok i have this setup, the mrp-m500 alpine monoblock is 500watts at 2 ohm not 4. so since u hav the 4 ohm version of the Type R. ur looking to wire it to 2 ohms not 4.
