Fiberglassing Question?

Can I add fiberglass on a piece of fiberglass that has already dried? I'm making some kick panels for my car I could not really get up in the top corner of the room for the feet due to lack of space and fiberglass fall. I wonder if I could add fiberglass to extend the edges of the fiberglass peices I did from now on no more than the backs that go against the car. I have not added the mdf rings or hair, yet.
