What is the best brand of RAM for a machine and how many gigs is considered good for high performance / gaming?

I was wondering how many gigs of RAM you should have for high performance / gaming effects. I've upgraded to a higher end graphics card from Nvidia and now I want to upgrade my RAM. I have only 1 GB of RAM today. Any suggestions? Good brands?

I use and recommend Corsair 4 gigs.

We often think in terms of leadership The Jack Welch, the leaders of the armed forces, our government leaders and institutions, the leaders of our industries. But leadership is not giving in particular - Happens everywhere.

Let me share a story of true leadership:

A girl in the second year in a small people in Wisconsin has been tested and classified as a student below the ground level. This designation put in a wilderness education. Not much is expected of him, not much effort invested in its development. Her parents discovered she had a vision problem - who had been with the ability to memorize everything. He met her in highschool. His parents settled the problem of vision. His parents talked to school, but were firm in their decision to keep a level below the class. The girl had difficulty thinking of herself as being as good as other children - after all, their school, said he was not up to standard. Now he was the only child in the class with glasses.

After the young man who had completed the fourth year, his family moved to California. It was a good time to let this young university recover breath, and she repeated the fourth grade. There is no accountability in this - she was in a completely different place.

And then the stars aligned and met this young leader who lead with a new place in your life.

His fourth grade teacher was Mrs. Kruger. A former military nurse, who had been in the Pacific South during the Second World War. No nonsense, firm and hard. The night has warned parents to all parents so that their students are responsible for their acts. If a student Forgot your meal, do not bring to school. They will not starve. Tell the children they are responsible for their own shares. We found no note below children in the world of Ms. Kruger level. She forgot her lunch at the beginning of the year. He returned home hungry, but she never forgot again.

Ms. Kruger has taught high expectations. If an assignment has become not meet your expectations this student, you have to do again and again and more - until they become convinced they had done their best work. The girl was forced to redo their work often, and do not always. But the job became after being forced to repeat it was better for the extra effort - and saw - and I knew hard work has resulted in the realization.

There were no jokes in class Ms. Kruger - no disrespect. Just allow it. Her class was very demanding, but a safe place for students to learn. He was energetic, criticism, optimism, and a wonderful teacher for that child. Her students respect and fear - but never threatened or use of force of any kind. It just ask their students as much as possible - Although they were convinced that we could do better. And when they did, he recognizes praise.

After a year with this girl Ms. Kruger has improved three grade levels in reading, writing and arithmetic. This was not easy - worked very hard. But she knew she had done - and what makes a change in her feelings about herself.

From the beginning - From this year with Ms. Kruger, the young man went to the Honors level classes in high school, to graduate from the University Boston and a Masters in Special Education from Simmons College in Boston.

We are very proud of our daughter and we are pleased that had the opportunity to spend a year of his young life learning of Ms. Kruger - a true leader.

There are so many qualities that a leader can possess facilitator - but the qualities of optimism, at the request and wait for the best, reward achievement, rank in the top of the list of leadership.
