(I have 2 subwoofers and one blows out) i can hook up only a subwoofer and not the other without problems?

a friend of mine gave me (2) 10 "sws undersea earthquake with the box. said one of them is expelled. they are 200 RMS each for a total of 400 RMS. I can get a 400 RMS amp, and only connect a speaker to it? one of them is expelled, but I want to replace in the future but for now only shoot with one 10 ". that work? I do not want to destroy my amp or anything. so yeah, total 400RMS for submarines, 400 of a total RMS amplifier (2 channels?) and I can hook up only one sub and not connect the other without problems.

seams so obvious to me to do ... if two submarines is likely 4 ohm each connected to a final load of 2 ohms. with a single operation sub 4 ohm load, to replace the blown sub (just buy an exact replacement), then you'd be back at 2 ohms. Here's the cool thing about this situation. Most amplifiers which are classified into mono or 400 watts into a 2 ohm load were only valued at about 200 watts at a 4 ohm load ... so the sense amplifier increases with the purchace a new sub ... that makes sense?
