What is the best way to hook up my car stereo the get radio stations?

i have a bmw 325i that is just installed an alpine deck in. my car has no external antenna, so how can i get a radio signal to this deck?

Your car most likely has an amplified antenna system, even though you don't have an external antenna your car has an internal antenna system. You will still have the vw style antenna plug behind your radio, you will need a antenna adapter to make it work with the aftermarket radio.

i have a VW golf mk2 and i want to change the radio with a modern one. i took out the old radio and the modern stereo that i got dont have any connections can i still connect it. there are wires that came out of the old stereo which are connected to the car

You can buy a plug for it that will plug right into the harness in your car and will plug right into your cd player.
