Kenwood subwoofer amp cuts out (shuts off) when the volume is high and the bass hits hard. Why? Automatic cut?

Its not because any wires are loose (at least on the amps end)
Do kenwood amps have an auto cut out when too much power is drawn from the car?

Do kenwood amps have an automatic cut out when the amp is vibrating too much?

What could be the problem? It will run fine when the volumes low...

One ? is the gain over 1/2 then there is ya problem. Kenwoods will shut-off if there is alot of distortion or the amp is overtaxed. I would also have ya charging system looked @ because some amps will shut off if less then 9V DC are going to them.
You never should have the gain over 1/2 unless entering a SPL event for burping the subs.

Auto Subwoofer

The JL Audio W7 is the biggest baddest subwoofer on the market today. JL Audio, being one of the top manufacturers of car audio systems, pushed their limits came out with the W7. The JL Audio W7 is priced anywhere between $300 and $500 depending on what size subwoofer you get. I purchased the 13" JL Audio w7 by itself from eBay for about $450.

The W7 has power handling capabilities of 1500 watts. Some say this isn't much, but this is true wattage rating. Unlike other companies JL Audio gives true numbers meaning the actual input and output rating. When I got the thing I was blown away by the shear weight of it. Its gotta be about 50-100 pounds. Since I got the JL Audio subwoofer, I thought I'd go all out and get the JL Audio amplifier also. I purchases the JL Audio 1000/1 Monoblock amplifier from them. This gives 1000 watts RMS, which is all you need for this monster.

After hooking everything up, I was blown away...literally. This sub is the loudest single subwoofer I have ever came across. The JL Audio W7 simply shook my brain, along with everything else in my car. I would not recommend this sub to anyone who doesn't want to be heard miles away. The W7 puts out the lowest, deepest, heart stopping bass imaginable.

For serious Car audio enthusiast the JL Audio w7 is a perfect addition to your ride. It will blow out any competition on the streets and may even blow out your ears, along with anything else that's loose in your car. how to connect Yamaha AV 1900 to Boston acoustics sub woofer?

I originally set my my receiver with just two large Tannoy front speakers it works fine but I want to add this subwoofer, During the auto set-up the receiver sends sound to subwoofer but after the set-up the receiver does not sent any sound to the subwoofer. The subwoofer is not seen on the screen of the receiver but just the two front speakers.Can someone help please. thank you

If you have your subwoofer hooked up via the subwoofer out on the back of the Receiver (LFE), just make sure that in the setup menu you have subwoofer set to "ON" and you should be set. I bet you this is why the sub isnt working after the fact, because the YPAO tests all the channels even if you have certain channels not hooked up or shut off.

The screen on the front of the Receiver probably will not light the LFE symbol unless there is 5.1 or 7.1 audio present. I do not have a subwoofer hooked up to my Yamaha RX-V3800 (because my Definitive Technology Supertowers have built in subwoofers) yet when there is 5.1 or 7.1 audio present the "LFE" symbol lights up anyways. It also did the same thing with center channel CLR symbol before I even had a center hooked up to it.

Bottom Line: The screen on the receiver only shows what type of audio is present and not what you have hooked up to the receiver.
