How to connect a subwoofer to m-audio studiophile AV 40's?
i have a pair of m-audio studiophile av 40's and i was wondering what i would have to do to connect them to a subwoofer of some kind
i use them for my pc through a headphone jack
also can anybody suggest a good subwoofer to buy for them?
i aim to spend around £50 but will go as high as £100 if i need to

The AV40's don't have a subwoofer output on the active speaker so you can't connect one directly to them.
Depending on your sound card you may have a sub-out port that you could connect an active (ie plug into the mains) subwoofer to. If this is the case then any sub at your pricerange is fine.
If your sound card doesn't have a sub-out then the next thing is to install a sound card that has.
